Strategy development and change programme definition

Client:

Mobile service operator

Objective:

Develop a strategy for product development

Challenges:

No existing strategy, and dramatic changes for product development in the mobile industry in general and for the client specifically.

Approach:

A two-way approach to strategy development enabled an appropriate understanding of the changes in the mobile industry and a deduction of strategic conclusions, whilst at the same time ensuring the participation of vice presidents and managers. During interactive, solution-focused workshops, the mission and the vision for product development were distilled, and strategic objectives supported by corresponding KPIs were defined. A value map highlighted key ingredients of the future organisation, and, to conclude, an implementation programme with individual projects was defined.

Results:

The strategy was approved by the steering committee and the implementation began afterwards.
